NukAlert BBT Program BATTERY The NukAlert will be cut open with special equipment. The battery will be removed and replaced with a new one. BOX The old housing will be discarded and replaced with a new one. The internal desiccant tablet will be replaced. The unit will be hermetically sealed with an ultrasonic welder. TEST The unit will be assigned a new bar code number linked to the previous one in the database. The unit will be subjected to the same full series of calibration tests as new units. The calibration data will be made available to the user. If the unit does not pass our stringent test parameters, repairs will be made to bring it into compliance. Details: This BBT program may be utilized by any NukAlert owner at any time. The fee for the BBT service is $35.00, which includes return shipping (USPS Priority Mail) to customers in the U.S. For international customers, the fee is $40.00 U.S. Turnaround is currently running at five business days. The use of this program has no effect on the NukAlert warranties, nor does it restart the original warranty period.
